About XL4W
As one of India’s leading business schools, XLRI has always been a pioneer in addressing issues such as ethics, sustainability & social entrepreneurship through academic programs/ initiatives. On the 8th of March 2021, XLRI established the Centre for Gender Equality & Inclusive Leadership (CGEIL), in partnership with XL4W.

XL4W - XLRI for Women is an official International Chapter of the Alumni Association, bringing together alumni with the aim of improving the participation of women in the workforce in India. This is done through a 3-fold approach:
OBJECTIVES
1
Support XLRI and CGEIL to design and deliver education and training programs that build gender-inclusive leadership, and enhance gender sensitization, in the corporate and other sectors.

Promote women achievers, showcase their work, create a network of women across the industry to share insights and grow together.

Support XLRI and CGEIL on advocacy and policy impact related to women’s rights in the workspace, diversity, and inclusion, and other related areas.

Coach and mentor students, faculty and
professionals to enable inclusive leadership and drive gender parity.

Conduct research and best practice studies on women's leadership, diversity and inclusion, gender, inclusive leadership, and related areas.

Work with organizations to create systemic interventions, that promote a culture conducive for the growth of women.
